I am finding this Mueller pressure cooker much more complicated to use than the Instapot. Can you manually control time by increasing or decreasing minutes? Many of the recipes are odd. What does it mean to “cook quickly under cold water and add the rest of the onions and root vegetables”

I tried mine for the first time. It has been in pressure cook mode for a half hour and still hasn’t built up enough pressure. That may mean it’s malfunctioning. Any ideas?

2-8-19 I can vegetable out of my garden the old fashione way. This is one reason why I picked this machine. I have used it at first for many things testing out how to use it’s function. My experience was great. Everything I tried turned out better than I thought.
Hammocks and beans, best I ever made,( great smoked hammock, dry bean) push beans button on pot and let pressure come down on its own, Wala.
Sautéed Onions, garlic, meat and slow cook to perfection. Soups the same way..
Just cooked a hole chicken using pressure and moved it to the oven to crisp the skin. Used the liquid left behind to make rice. (Pushed button)
I’m writing this, because I am so happy that this Mueller presser cooker, slow cooker, keep warmer is great.
They need more recipes to users.

Worst product ever made! If you wash the lid, there is a small piece that fall out of the handle. This makes it USELESS!!! Very poor design that was never tested! I would never sell a product this worthless and neither should you!

I have a 10-1 6qt I have tried to cook a roast twice and came up with it shrunken and tough. Here is what I did, release valve on airtight, menu to meat, manual to p30. It only cooks for 30 minutes and is never right. What am I doing wrong?
